Mr. Carter was born February 25, 1935 in Wingate, Texas and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1963. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Infantry officer from 1956 to 1959. Mr. Carter graduated from Stanford University Law School in 1962.

Mr. Carter received a BA degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, in December 1982 (he was in the stands for “The Play” that ended the 1982 Big Game).

Mr. Momsen was born February 24, 1966 in Reno, Nevada. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1991 and has also been admitted to practice in several Federal Courts.

ATTORNEYAlexander Rich

Mr. Rich was born in Oakland, California and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2013. He is a 2013 graduate of Martin Luther King, Jr. School of Law at the University of California, Davis, where he became a member of the Order of the Coif, and served as an inaugural member of the California Supreme Court Clinic.

ATTORNEYColin Morrow

Mr. Morrow was born in San Francisco, California and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2012. Mr. Morrow is also admitted to practice before Oregon State Courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

LAW CLERKMargarita (Margie) Salcedo Rice

Margie has been a resident of Mendocino County since 1985. She received a B.S. in Business Administration from Loma Linda University in 1982, graduating magna cum laude and was the recipient of the President’s Award. She went on to receive her MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from the Henry W. Bloch School of Management, University of Missouri, Kansas City, graduating magna cum laude; and in 2019 graduated with honors from, Concord Law School. At Concord Law School, Margarita served as a Judicial Intern under Judge John Behnke, presiding judge for the Superior Court of Mendocino County during 2017. She also interned for Judge Jeanine Nadel, Judge Anne Moorman, and Judge Keith Faulder. She currently is working as a law clerk for Carter Momsen PC specializing in real estate law, estates wills and trusts, and civil litigation.
